This past Sunday we gathered together for a Community Gathering potluck. A rich variety of brave souls took a risk to gather with other creatives in the community. And we were not left wanting!

 

We brought food and ate together in small group conversations. Eventually we circled in a more formal way and tried on some community practices together.

 

A guided meditation began our time, where we found our breath and presence in a group. Then we introduced a deep listening practice, and shared about our past experiences with, and concepts of, community.

 

Connection ~ Knowing

Realness ~ Understanding

Shared Interests ~ Intention

Physical Presence ~ Care

 

Just a few of the words and sentiments that emerged from our individual desires and collective truth.

 

We left feeling more attuned to ourselves and each other. We felt grateful to be seen and heard, and to see and hear. Yes!
