Throughout history masks have been utilized as symbolic representations for expressions of culture, ancestry, beauty, truth-telling, and aspirations.

They have also been used to hide identity, for protection, to scare away evil, and so many other reasons.

Making a mask of your own face, and decorating it, is a deep conscious practice to put your image in a symbolic and present moment.

Join us this Sunday to entertain questions such as:

  • Who am I?
  • What do I represent?
  • How do I feel on the inside?
  • How does that meet up with my outward expression?
  • How do I want to express myself?

You can make a mask, or just join us in food and fellowship.

Also, the Art Center of Estes Park is hosting it's annual The Magic of Masks community exhibit. If you want to decorate your mask and enter it into the exhibit you can pay a $20 entry fee and receive your 8x10 canvas mount.
