The solstice marks the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere.  It is the day the earth's tilt toward the sun is at its maximum. The sun appears at its highest elevation, with little change in the days before or after. Thus for us in Colorado, it becomes the longest day of sunlight with 15 hours of bright sun,

An energetic way of experiencing the solstice is that while the earth is in a moment of peak, powerful light it provides us an illuminated means to see the fullness of who we are.

The summer solstice is a time of vibrant energy to accomplish the tasks that have grown out of the seeds we sowed in the spring. We can see the fruits of our inner journey beginning to sprout and take form. It is a time of action, and a time of abundance, and a time of joy.

It is also a potent time to reconnect with yourself and the natural world. Both the sun's warmth and the swift flow of water can bring in a greater connection to self and all things seen and unseen.

This threshold where the light lasts so long brings a wave of both contentment and yearning - we realize just how splendid we are in our full glory, while feeling the deep knowing that we can expand even more.

So, it is also a time of urgency. Immediately after the brightest of days, the sun's power begins to decrease daily. So, the solstice gives us the opportunity to feel our greatest potential and fuels us into fulfilling the next pieces of our purpose and destiny.

During our celebration, together we have a shared meal and fellowship, followed by guided ways to look back over the spring, and step more fully and consciously into summer.

Join us for this special time of intention and connection.
