Turning Toward the New Year

The season of winter and the darkest of nights

is a rich time for reflecting on the past year

and turning toward what lies ahead.

 

On this night, we will welcome each other into creativity and connection.

 

Part 1 of the evening:

• First we will gather and set intentions.

• Then we will utilize the fire tokens pictured above and art supplies to prepare to release something that is no longer serving.

• Finally we will step outdoors and release these symbols into the fire.

 

Part 2 of the evening:

• We will head back indoors, and through music and art we will find inspiration for the coming year.

• We will utilize art materials to water the seeds that are germinating in this winter time and preparing to sprout in the coming season of life.

• Your creation can serve as reminder of your larger intentions throughout the year.
