Emerging Artist Initiative
Our Emerging Artist Initiative is designed to foster artistic development in local artists who are newer to the world of art and are needing some support to launch their art careers.
These artists might be moving into art creation for the first time, and needing some guidance on composition, presentation, pricing, or any aspect that aids their journey into becoming authentic and sellable artists. Or these artists may have been creating for some time and are now ready to take the next steps toward becoming a professional artist.
In both cases, they get to display their work to gain valuable exposure and live feedback, make some initial sales, and become a part of the Seed & Sage Community.

Ocean B. McGee is an intuitive abstract artist whose vibrant and dynamic creations reflect the transformative
power of creativity in healing and self-discovery. Born into a life of constant movement and the constraints of a high-demand religious cult, Ocean's artistic journey began as a means of reclaiming identity and finding authenticity amidst the chaos.
Drawing from a palette of lived experiences and the fluidity of life's challenges and joys, Ocean's artwork serves as a canvas for exploring the depths of human emotion and resilience. Each breathe of color is a step towards self-acceptance, inviting viewers to journey alongside Ocean through the ebbs and flows of their own lives.
Ocean believes that art has the power to change both the artist and the viewer, inviting them to discover new perspectives and find solace in the shared beauty of our collective experiences. Through their intuitive abstract art, Ocean seeks to inspire hope and healing, offering a beacon of light for all who encounter their work.
