No matter what your age or your life path,

whether making art is your career or your hobby or your dream,

it is not too late or too egotistical or too selfish or too silly

to work on your creativity.
― Julia Cameron

Right after the turning to the new year, a group of people will come together to encourage, support, and enliven creativity in our lives.

Together we will entertain questions such as:

  • What is your relationship to creativity?

  • What role does creativity play in your daily life?

  • What gets in the way of accessing your creativity?

  • What patterns or voices hinder your creativity?

  • How do you become more connected to your Self as a creative?

  • How might creativity support and encouragement enhance your life?

  • What might your life be like if you felt fully attuned with your creative Self?

  • How might alignment with your Self as a creative being foster more productivity (and higher sales, for those that sell your art)?

This guided group is for anyone ready to actively engage with
and fully embody your Self as a creative being.

Utilizing Julia Cameron’s invaluable guide to living the artist’s life, together we will help each other discover or rediscover, claim or reclaim, the practice of creativity in daily life.

Whether this is your first time engaging with this book or you are well-seasoned with The Artist's Way,

all voices and experiences will contribute to our individual and collective discovery of what creativity means

now in our lives and in these times.

The group will meet once a week in the cozy Seed & Sage Studio in Estes Park.  Between classes you will engage in a variety of daily and weekly activities to enhance your creativity.

When we come together, we will share about our triumphs and challenges from the past week, engage in various listening and synchronicity experiences as a means to support each other in this becoming process, and look ahead to the coming week.

Take a risk this fall to step more fully into your creative self!

Investment: Your investment for this course is $140

Tools: We will be utilizing the 30th Anniversary Book for this group, as well as special notebooks.  We were able to get new copies of the book at a discount, and they can be purchased from us along with your journal for $17.50.  If you already have a copy of the 30th edition, a journal can be purchased for $4.00.

Attendance: While it is ideal to be present for all group sessions, life and work may necessitate otherwise from time to time. If you have to miss a class we will fill you in via email on the missed session.  If you already know that you will need to miss more than 3 sessions, for the sake of group cohesion it would be best to wait until the next offering.

Group Sessions: During our time together, we will engage in personal and small group sharing, creativity practice activities, guided visualizations, and deep listening and community practices, among other possibilities depending on what emerges from the needs of the group.

Group Guidance: This group is guided by Jason Geoffrion.  He holds a BA in Creative Writing, a MA in Special Education, a MA in Human & Organizational Systems, and a PhD in Human Development.  He is well-versed in the particular practice of The Artist's Way, as well as having led hundreds of groups. courses, and retreats over the past 15 years.  Jason's unique genius lies in his ability to listen to the individual and collective needs that show and weave those together with the intentions, purpose, and goals of the course.  This weaving creates a rich and dynamic experience that fosters growth and learning for all involved.

Partial scholarships are available: We believe anyone should be able to access this work, regardless of financial situation. Inquire with Jason about scholarship options - jason@communitymatters.us

Testimonials

Taking the Artist's Way this spring for me was simply transformational and I don't say that lightly. For years, I've understood the metamorphic power of Julia Cameron's Artist's Way through reading it privately, but never had I experienced it the way that it was intended to be processed- in community. Seed and Sage's offering of this class opened up a whole new world of creative enchantment for myself, my business, and my creative pleasure, not to mention making lifelong connections that were soulful and rich. Don't delay - sign up, take the class and be transformed. Your future self will thank you.

Embarking on the Artist's Way Creativity Practice Group has been truly transformational. Throughout the 13-week course, we tapped into creative expression through writing, meditation, art and sound therapy. A newcomer to Estes Park, this course offered the opportunity to become part of a strong and supportive community - building both meaningful and lasting friendships. I cannot thank Jason and Velina enough for guiding me through this journey of self-discovery. If you're considering this class, you won't regret it!

The Artist's Way class is a very comfortable space to work through the Artist's Way process - which in itself is a very positive experience to go through. I found that being part of the group allowed this book and process to be so much more impactful.

The Artist Way course put on by Seed and Sage was absolutely worth the time and investment! The course is quite a commitment, but knowing I was meeting with a caring and supportive group every week definitely helped keep me on track. It was great to have accountability, support and encouragement from Jason as well as the other participants- who I can now call friends.  Jason is an expert at creating an environment where you can feel safe to explore your creativity whatever your medium. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who’s interested in unlocking their creative gifts and ready to do the inner work to get there.

I was looking for a creative community. I found this and more. It became a time devoted to my personal growth with support of the group. It created amazing changes in my life with a more focused direction to manifesting dreams. Giving more creative time for myself became something I now make time for. I look forward to participating in the Artist's Way group again!
